Data lead and manager of software support

De Mai 2011 à Décembre 2016

I currently handle software support across the whole organization: Finance, Marketing, Sales, Registrar and Customer Support.

As the tech lead of a small team of developers, I prioritize and resolve all the requests for new features, reports, maintenance operations and bugs. There's never a dull moment as each day brings it's shares of surprises and ... fires.

I also manage longer term projects such as System Integrations between Salesforce, Marketo, Colleague and our legacy database and applications. Data integrity and security is always key.

Over 2013, I created a marketing data practice to enable data driven decision making in the organization. I was able among other things to show that our multi-tiered pricing initiative had no side effect on regular enrollment figures. This initiative lead me to reconnect with my passion for applied Math and to learn the R statistical language. I also analyzed the behavior of our students in Berklee's MOOCs on Coursera which lead to a publication in the UPCEA Journal.

Tech environment: Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, Git, Service Oriented Architecture, Postgresql, SQL, Mongodb, R, PHP, JQuery
3rd Party: Colleague, Salesforce, Jitterbit, Informatica, Marketo
