Understanding cybersecurity

Webinar

Our computers, smartphones, tablets and other connected objects are ubiquitous and indispensable to the functioning of our world: industry, banking, administration, commerce and transport all benefit from their use. But the services they provide, and their long-term viability, depend on the preservation of their capabilities and their resistance to alteration and interference, whether deliberate or accidental. Cybersecurity - understood as the protection of these objects and the infrastructures that link them, as well as the data they generate or process, transport and store - plays a vital role today.

This book introduces the concepts on which cybersecurity is based, the efforts undertaken to give it a normative framework, the means to implement a sufficient level of protection, to maintain it despite evolving threats, and to evaluate it.
