Commitment to gender diversity: GEF charter signed
Télécom Paris Alumni joins the Grandes Ecoles au Féminin network
and signs the Charte Mixité alongside 18 alumni associations from France's grandes écoles!
In June 2025, Télécom Paris Alumni strengthened its commitment to diversity and equality by signing the Charte Mixité des Grandes Ecoles au Féminin.
This charter aims to improve the visibility, representation and participation of women in the professional sphere through three commitments:
1. Mixed governance
The signatories of the Charter undertake to set up a governance structure for their association that is representative of its members, with a view to promoting gender diversity and supporting the evolution of the student population on campus.
2. Combating stereotypes
The signatories of the Charter undertake to organize annual training sessions, conferences, seminars or workshops (or make them available on an ongoing basis to alumni) on the subject of cognitive bias within their association. alumni) on cognitive biases within their association, a key subject for raising awareness of the need to combat stereotypes and unconscious biases in order to be more inclusive.
3. Panels and mixed-gender presentations
Charter signatories undertake to :
- Ensure that any public event or media intervention, whether face-to-face or remote, for which the signatory is responsible, is organized with at least one woman among the speakers;
- Invite its members to decline any participation in events and speeches, even outside those organized by the association, which would run counter to this principle, whatever the communication medium.
