Keynote address by Gauthier Louette, CEO of SPIE

ENSTA Alumni is organizing a conference with Gauthier Louette, CEO of SPIE, on Monday December 1, starting at 6:45 pm, in person at the Espace Saint-Martin in Paris, and by videoconference. A cocktail reception will follow.

Gauthier Louette will be speaking on the theme of "SPIE, from a French company to a major European group". In twenty years, punctuated by 170 acquisitions, two LBOs and an IPO, SPIE has become Europe's leading independent player in energy services, with 55,000 employees and sales of over ten billion euros.

Registration is compulsory, subject to availability.

7pm: start, introduction by Laurent Thieffry, President of ENSTA Alumni
7:05pm: remarks by Estelle Iacona, ENSTA's new Managing Director
7:15pm: address by Gauthier Louette, CEO of SPIE
7:35pm: Q&A with the audience
8pm: cocktail reception

Gauthier Louette is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (Class of '81) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA).
He has spent his entire career with SPIE, joining in 1986 as a site engineer. After seventeen years in the pipelines division, where he was appointed head in 1999, he was appointed Group Managing Director in 2003, before becoming Chairman and CEO in 2010.


Gauthier Louette also sits on the boards of the Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics (FNTP) and the Syndicat des Entreprises de la Transition Energétique et Numérique (SERCE). He is a Captain in the French Navy's Citizen Reserve and a Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honor.
